Makeup Tips For All The Dry-skinned Beauties

Dry skin, one of the most irritating things ever! And if you are a makeup lover on the top of it, you’ll know all the struggles and all the frustrations. The cakey and cracks in the foundation is not so attractive you know. Only god knows all those bucks we let flow in our attempt to get the right product but failed epically.  And because we relate to all the girls with dry skin on a spiritual level, we decided to dig around some beauty tips for all the dry skinned beauties. Here you go! Thank us later.

1. Using natural oils as Primer

First rule, Never skip primer. If you have dry skin, then primer must be viewed as something holy. It will not only smoothen out the surface and helps the foundation glide smoothly on the skin but also avoids the drying out of the skin from the foundation. If you are not keen into spending a bomb on things, we suggest you to use oils like Argan oil or coconut oil as primer because they serve the purpose just as good. Products like Bio oil are a wiser choice, because they will repair the dryness and dullness from inside.

2. Go for everything that is Creamy

If you have dry skin, opt for creamy products rather than matte ones. Be it lipstick or foundation or any other product! Matte ones look so classy. We agree. But darling, they aren’t your cup of tea. They will dry out the moisture of your skin and make your skin cracked and when it comes to lips, matte ones settle into fine lines. And yikes, we do not want that at all.

3. Take good care of your skin

You know, no matter how much you try to prevent dryness through makeup, won’t be possible. You should take good care of your skin. And the golden rules include removing makeup at the end of the day, not using the expired products, not using any harsh chemicals or skipping sunscreen. Always follow the cleanse, tone and moisturize rule. And stress on the moisturizing part! Also, avoid those skin scaldingly hot showers and baths. They strip natural oils from your skin. Instead, stick to warm water.

  1. Eat Healthy

Like they say, you are what you eat. Concentrate and watch what you eat. Limit the pizzas, burgers and french fries. Go for healthy foods like broccoli, carrots, berries, citrus fruits and oatmeals as much as you can because they contain antioxidants that will help you to save your skin( pun not at all intended!) Make sure you get enough amount of Vitamin C. That will help you with having a glorious skin as well. Drink loads of water. Keep yourself hydrated in order to avoid any dryness and dullness.

5. And something extra

A little something can go a long long way. Treat your skin with something nice. Like rubbing those vitamin e capsules to drive away any dullness. Whip up some home remedies and trust us, these will work wonders. Honey is your best friend. Apply honey regularly to keep the skin soft and supple. If you love your skin, it will love you right back!
