How To Lighten Dark Underarm Skin

You can get rid of the darkness in your underarms with a little attention. Here are few simple tips that can help you a lot to lighten dark underarm skin. 1. Lemon: Add a pinch of turmeric to 1 tbsp lemon juice and mix well. Apply this on clean underarms and leave for 10-15 minutes. Rinse with plain water. Apply a good moisturizer.

2. Potatoes: Grate a small potato and squeeze to extract juices. Apply this juice to clean underarms and leave for 10-15 minutes. Rinse well and apply a good moisturizer. Repeat every day for quick results.

3. Cucumbers: Mix 1 tbsp cucumber juice with 1 tbsp lemon juice. Add a pinch of turmeric. Apply this solution over clean underarms and leave for 10-15 minutes. Rinse well and apply a good moisturizer.

4. Exfoliate: Mix 1 tbsp baking soda with a little water. Apply this over clean underarms and massage very gently for 10-20 seconds. Underarm skin is very sensitive, so don’t be hard while you massage. BAking soda deep cleans the pores and removes the dead cells.This helps in lightening the dark skin. Repeat twice a week for good results.

5. Orange peel powder: Mix 1 tbsp orange peel powder with a little rose water or milk to make a smooth paste. Rub the underarms gently with this scrub.

6.  Coconut oil: Massage underarms daily with a little coconut oil before you take a shower. This will help to lighten the dark skin.

7. Apple cider vinegar: Mix 1 tbsp of rice flour with 2 tbsp of ACV to make a smooth paste. Apply this over clean underarms and leave for 10-15 minutes. Rinse well and apply good moisturizer.

8. Milk and saffron: Add a few strands of saffron to 2 tbsp of warm milk. Let it soak for 5 minutes and then mash it using your fingers. Apply this saffron milk on clean underarms and leave for 10-15 minutes. Rinse well.

9. Gram flour: Mix 1 tbsp of gram flour with little water to make a smooth paste. Apply this as a mask over the underarms. Leave for 10-15 minutes and rinse.

10: Sandalwood: Mix 1 tbsp of sandalwood powder with little rose water to make a smooth paste. Apply this over dark underarms. Leave for 10-15 minutes and rinse well.
