Face Mask To Control Acne An Lighten Skin Complexion:
This face mask is one of the easy to make and most effective beauty recipes. It is a deep pore cleansing, exfoliating mask which can prevent and control acne effectively. Use this mask twice a week or if you have extremely dull, tanned or acne prone skin, you can use this every day to reduce acne causing bacteria, tan and dark spots. It is also effective in skin lightening and makes the skin glowing.
- 1-2 tbsp Honey (raw)
- 1/2 tsp Nutmeg powder
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- 2 tbsp Lemon juice

It also prevents the formation of wrinkles, heals scars caused by acne or sun spots. It’s known in Ayurvedic medicine for its antiviral and antibacterial elements that decrease the likelihood of infections, clogged pores, and oil control.
Cinnamon: Cinnamon aids in blood circulation and oxygenation. Just like nutmeg, it have stimulating properties that can improve blood circulation. Cinnamon also have skin lightening properties. It cures the pimples and blackheads instantly.
Lemon: Lemon juice is rich in Vitamin C and is a common ingredient used in skin lightening products. It also removes sun tan, fades age spots and even out skin tone. It is a natural astringent that tightens pores and brightens the complexion.
Mix nutmeg and cinnamon powders into a bowl. Add 1-2 tbsp of raw honey and mix into a paste. Add lemon juice into the paste and mix well. Massage onto clean skin and leave for 20-40 minutes. Remove by gently rubbing the mask off in circular motions. Rinse completely with water. You can also spot treat inflamed zits with a mixture of honey and nutmeg.
