1) Clay and Tea-tree Oil:-

Mix a little fuller’s earth in tea tree oil to make a smooth paste. Apply this over the pimple and leave over night. Wash with a gentle face wash in the morning. Usually it will be gone over night or if not, then within 2-3 nights.

2) Apple Cider Vinegar:- 

Swab a little undiluted Apple Cider Vinegar over the pimple 2-3 times in a day. No need to rinse off repeatedly. ACV can also be applied and left overnight on the blemish.

3) Lemon Juice:-

Squeeze a few drops of lemon juice and dab it over the pimples. Leave overnight and wash in the morning. The high acetic and ascorbic acid content and rich vitamin-C cures the pimple faster.

4) Mustard Powder:-

Mix a pinch of fine mustard powder in few drops of honey to make a smooth paste.The rich salicyclic acids present in mustard powder and the anti bacterial properties of honey gently and effectively cures pimple over night. 5) Green Tea Ice Cubes:-

6) Tomato Juice:-

Tomatoes are rich in antioxidants which fight against free radicals and hence the topical application of tomato juice can stop cell damage. They are also rich in acidic content which can dry out the acne patches and tighten the pores through which excess oil is released, thus preventing more pimples. Blend a medium sized tomato in a mixer and apply the juice over the face. Leave for at least 15 minutes and wash with cold water. Regular use heals and prevents the pimples and also the scars left by them.

7) Egg White:-

Beat an egg white into meringue-like foam and add few drops of lemon juice. Mix well and apply this over the face. Leave for at least 15 minutes or until it dries. Wash with a gentle face wash. Egg whites tightens the skin pores and clears excess sebum. This mask heals the pimples faster and makes the skin tighter and firmer. Egg yolk is not recommended to be used on pimple prone skin if you are using any topical medical creams.

8) Garlic:- 

Garlic is rich in an organosulfur compound known as allicin which is anti-fungal, anti-protozoal, anti-viral and anti-bacterial. It is a rich anti-microbial compound available on earth. With all its precious properties, it can heal the pimples faster on topical application. Crush a few garlic cloves and apply the juicy substance over the pimples. DIY Homemade Hairsprays for Frizzy Hair

For a night out or on a beach, sometimes girls prefer their hair to be of full volume and frizz free. But often hair does whatever it wants. One day the locks will be extra wavy and the next day they appear flat. The feel of flat, frizzy or thin hair may look disastrous. You may want to use hair sprays available in stores but the frequent usage makes the hair crunchy and the chemicals in the hair sprays and the cost of making your coils look good are frustrating.

So here are the homemade hair sprays for you to keep the tresses beautiful, lustrous and frizz-controlled.

1) Orange and Lavender Hairspray:- 

  • One medium sized orange
  • 2 Cups filtered water
  • 2-3 Tbsp rum or vodka
  • 10-15 drops of lavender essential oil

Cut the orange into 8 pieces. In a sauce pan add water and bring to a boil. Add the orange pieces to the boiling water and further boil until the water reduces to half i.e about one cup.

Strain and allow the solution to cool.

Mix vodka or rum and lavender essential oil or any of your favorite essential oil to the above solution.

Collect this solution into a spray bottle with the help of a funnel.
