Straight hair is pretty aesthetic for us all. After actresses flaunting pin straight hair, we all pulled out our straighteners and got into work. However, subjecting your hair continuously to the heat is not a good idea at all. Your hair will become brittle, dry and is more prone to breakage than usual. Not to mention hair fall and thinning of hair. Instead, here are some tips for you to straighten your hair naturally without heat. These hair straightening tips may not achieve the pin straight look you get with the iron but its fairly straight.
1. Where those curlers at ?
Curlers can help a lot if you wanna straighten and style it without any damage. It is one of the famous hair straightening technique. After you shower, remove any tangles from your hair, apply some leave-in conditioner if your hair is too frizzy. Then take your hair in sections, comb them smoothly and now roll them using the curlers. Opt for bigger curlers for less waves. Make sure your hair is wet during this process. Let it be there for few hours, until the hair dries and ta da! There you go, voluminous, glossy, straight hair.
2. Straightening masks
There are many hair straightening masks in the market so be careful while choosing one. These straightening masks are usually heavy on hair, and they weigh down your curls, straightening the hair in the process. Although you might not see the expected results, regular use will help you a lot and this is a really good way to give your hair a break from the curling iron. Buy them here!
3. Use the help of elastics
This is another useful technique to have soft and manageable hair. After your shower, when the hair is still wet, comb it, see that there aren’t any tangles, use any heavy conditioner or you can use a little bit of coconut or olive oil. Then part your hair into two sections and tie them with elastics. Basically pigtails. After that add elastics to your entire hair, leaving an inch of gap. Leave the hair in this way overnight. Remove the elastics in the morning. However, make sure you aren’t fastening the elastics too tight, for they will create waves in the hair.
4. Try home remedies
Home remedies are always the best. First of all, they won’t damage your hair in any possible way and secondly, they nourish your hair, making it soft and bouncy. So this would be the best pick for hair straightening. Although it will take some time for these remedies to work, they give lasting results. Here are some hair packs
